Ingredients
18g Philadelphia-type cream cheese
, 55g caster sugar,
1 tsp liquid vanilla extract
, 100ml double cream (20% fat)
, 250ml whole milk,
30g Oreo cookies (or more to taste),
store-bought chocolate sauce for topping
Instructions
- Put the cream cheese in a bowl and microwave it, softening it by stirring with a spoon.
- Add the sugar and flavoring of your choice, then mix with a whisk until you obtain an icing-like texture.
- Gently incorporate the liquid whole cream and milk until fully incorporated and the sugar dissolves.
- Pour the base into an empty Ninja Creami container. Place the storage lid on top and freeze for 24 hours.
Ensure the container is on a flat surface and the mixture is smooth. Remove the container from the freezer and take off the lid. - Once the bowl is in place, make sure the appliance is switched on. Select ICE CREAM and the program will start.
- Once finished, start a second Ice Cream Lite cycle.
At the end of this cycle, add 1 shot (or 1 tablespoon) of milk, reinsert the bowl into the unit and press RE-SPIN. - The texture should be very smooth. Repeat the cycle until the texture is identical to that of McFlurry. Once churning is complete, remove the ice cream from the tub and serve immediately
- Add the roughly crumbled Oreo cookies on top of the ice cream.
- Pour a little chocolate sauce over the Oreo cookies.
- Using a spoon, roughly mix the Oreo cookies and ice cream sauce.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious homemade Oreo cake McFlurry!
