Date and mild spice ice cream is a true gourmet journey, with comforting and warming flavors. Dates provide natural sweetness, while spices like cinnamon and nutmeg enhance the flavors with a subtle touch of aroma. It's the perfect ice cream for lovers of rich, flavorful desserts, ideal for winter. Here's how to make it with your Ninja Creami!

What you need:
- 200 ml of full liquid cream
- 150 ml of whole milk
- 80g of pitted Medjool dates
- 50 g of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of ground ginger (optional)

Preparation :
- Prepare the dates : Chop the Medjool dates into small pieces. They will melt into the mixture and give the ice cream a lovely texture. If you prefer a smoother ice cream, you can blend the dates with a little milk until you obtain a smooth puree.
- Heat the base : In a saucepan, gently heat the milk and cream over medium heat. Add the chopped dates or date puree, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and, if you like, a pinch of ground ginger for a little extra kick. Stir well until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth.
- Add the vanilla : Remove from heat, add the vanilla extract, and mix well. This will flavor the ice cream and add extra aromatic depth.
- Allow to cool : Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then place it in the refrigerator for at least one hour so that it is very cold before freezing.
- Freezing : Pour the mixture into your Ninja Creami jar and place it in the freezer for 24 hours.
- Ice cream transformation : After 24 hours, place the tub in the Ninja Creami and start the "Ice Cream" mode. If the texture seems too firm, add a tablespoon of milk and run another Re-spin cycle to achieve the perfect creamy texture.
- Tasting : Your date and mild spice ice cream is ready to enjoy! The dates provide natural sweetness, while the spices subtly warm each bite. For an extra touch, you can add a few more pieces of date or a sprinkle of cinnamon on top before serving.
This ice cream is rich in flavor, comforting, and perfect for winter! Enjoy! 🍦✨
