Ingredients :

  • 150 ml of fresh lemon juice (about 5 lemons)
  • 150 ml of water
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 1 piece of fresh ginger (about 2 cm, peeled and grated)
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon zest
  • 1 pinch of salt (optional)

Preparation :

  1. Prepare the syrup
    in a small saucepan, heat the water and sugar over medium heat. Add the grated ginger and lemon zest, then simmer for about 5 minutes for the flavors to infuse. Remove fire and let cool.
  2. Add the lemon juice
    once the syrup has cooled, mix it with the fresh lemon juice and a pinch of salt to balance the flavors.
