Nougat spread is a rich and indulgent treat, inspired by the flavors of traditional nougat. With crunchy pieces of hazelnuts and almonds, it's perfect for swirling into ice cream, using as a topping, or enjoying by the spoonful.

Ingredients :
- 150g of white nougat (soft or hard nougat)
- 50g of roasted hazelnuts
- 50g of roasted almonds
- 100g of honey (preferably mild honey)
- 50g of butter
- 100 ml of whole liquid cream
Preparation :
- Prepare the hazelnuts and almonds.
If your hazelnuts and almonds aren't already toasted, toast them in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 10 minutes, then let them cool. Roughly chop them to add a crunchy texture to the dough. - Melt the nougat.
Cut the nougat into small pieces and melt it gently in a saucepan over low heat with the cream. Stir regularly to obtain a smooth mixture. - Add the honey and butter.
Once the nougat has melted, add the honey and butter. Continue stirring until the butter is completely melted and the texture is smooth and creamy. - Remove
from heat and add the chopped hazelnuts and almonds to the nougat paste. Mix well to evenly distribute the crunchy pieces throughout the paste. - Let it cool and store. Pour
the nougat spread into an airtight container and let it cool to room temperature. It will keep in the refrigerator for about 1 to 2 weeks. Before using, warm it slightly if it becomes too firm.
