Rose syrup is delicate, sweet, and fragrant, with a lovely pink hue. It's ideal for drizzling over ice cream, adding to drinks, or flavoring desserts. This syrup is easy to make and will bring an elegant and subtle touch to your sweet creations.

Ingredients :
- 250 ml of water
- 200 g of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of dried rosebuds (or 1 teaspoon of pure rose water)
- 1 to 2 drops of pink food coloring (optional, to enhance the color)
Preparation :
- Heat the water and sugar.
In a saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring regularly until the sugar is completely dissolved, about 5 minutes. - Add the rosebuds.
If you're using dried rosebuds, add them to the sugar water mixture. Let them infuse over low heat for 10 minutes so the syrup absorbs the rose fragrance. If you're using rosewater, add it at the end of cooking, after removing the pan from the heat. - Strain the syrup.
Pass the mixture through a fine sieve to remove the rosebuds. If you want a more colored syrup, add 1 or 2 drops of pink food coloring at this stage. - Let it cool.
Allow the rose syrup to cool completely before pouring it into an airtight container. It will keep in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks.
