Ingredients :
- 250 g of strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 2 tablespoons of dried hibiscus flowers
- 200 g of sugar
- 250 ml of water

Preparation :
- Prepare the strawberries
if you use fresh strawberries, hote them and cut them into pieces. If they are frozen, make sure they are completely thawed before starting. - Infuse the hibiscus
in a saucepan, carries the water to a boil then adds the dried hibiscus flowers. Let infuse out of heat for 5 to 10 minutes until the water takes a beautiful red color. - Cook the strawberries
filter the infused hibiscus flowers and put the water infused in the pan. Add the strawberries and sugar, then heat over medium heat, stirring regularly. Leave to cook for about 10 to 15 minutes until the strawberries break down. - Filter The mixture
passes the mixture through a fine colander to remove the strawberry pieces and hibiscus residues, pressing the strawberries well to extract all the juice and the flavor. - Let simmer
put the filtered juice back in the pan and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, until the syrup thickens slightly. Add lemon juice if you want to enhance the flavors. - Let cool
let the syrup cool completely before pouring it into an airtight container. It will keep in the refrigerator for about 1 to 2 weeks.
