If you love strawberries as much as I do, this homemade strawberry syrup will become your best friend for enhancing all your ice creams made with the Ninja Creami. It's easy to make, and it adds a sweet, fruity touch, perfect for boosting the flavors of your creations. Imagine this syrup on a beautiful, creamy vanilla ice cream made with the Ninja Creami… a real treat, right?

Ingredients :
- 500g of ripe strawberries
- 300 g of sugar
- 200 ml of water
- The juice of half a lemon
Preparation :
- Prepare your strawberries.
Wash the strawberries, hull them, then cut them into pieces. The scent of fresh strawberries brings a little bit of summer to your kitchen! - Heat everything up.
Put the strawberries, sugar, and water in a saucepan. Simmer over medium heat until the strawberries become very soft and juicy (about 10 minutes). - Add the lemon juice.
A little lemon to balance everything out, and there you go, you prevent your syrup from becoming too sweet. - Blend and strain.
Use an immersion blender to achieve a smooth texture. If you prefer a syrup without lumps, strain it. - Let it thicken.
Put the syrup back on the heat for a few minutes to thicken it slightly. Once cooled, pour it into a pretty bottle (yes, presentation still matters!).

Ninja Creami Tip:
This homemade strawberry syrup pairs perfectly with vanilla or coconut ice cream made with the Ninja Creami. A drizzle of strawberry syrup over a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream creates the perfect homemade sundae-style treat. And why not try it on frozen yogurt or even chocolate ice cream for a sweet and tangy contrast?
Plus, this syrup keeps for up to two weeks in the fridge, so you can enjoy it again and again on all your Ninja Creami ice creams. Let me know in the comments what flavors you've paired it with!
