Mango-Strawberry Sorbet with Ninja Creami

Ingredients :

  • 200g of mango (fresh or frozen)
  • 200g of fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons of agave syrup (or according to your taste)
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (it gives just that perfect little zing)
  • 80 ml of water
  • A pinch of salt (optional, but it always enhances the flavors!)

Preparation :

  1. Prepare your fruit.
    If you have fresh mangoes, peel and chop them. And if you have fresh strawberries, hull them before chopping them as well. Otherwise, frozen fruit works very well too. Just let it thaw a little so the blender can do its job without struggling with frozen chunks of fruit!
  2. Mix it up!
    Put the mango pieces, strawberries, water, agave syrup, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt in your blender. Blend well until it's smooth and super colorful – it's already a feast for the eyes, and you haven't even tasted it yet!
  3. Pour into the Ninja Creami container.
    Transfer this mixture into your Ninja Creami container, but be careful not to exceed the MAX FILL (this is important to avoid overflows when churning). Then, pop it in the freezer for 24 hours .
  4. Sorbet time!
    After the 24-hour wait (the hardest part, I know!), insert the container into the Ninja Creami and start the "Sorbet" . In just a few minutes, you'll have a smooth sorbet that smells like summer!
  5. Respin Tip:
    If the texture is a little too firm, don't panic! Use the "Respin" and add a little 30ml of water or lemon juice to adjust and make it even creamier.

My personal tip:

This sorbet is great as is, but if you want to add a little something extra, try topping it with some fresh strawberries or chopped mint. And for those with a sweet tooth, toasted coconut flakes or even a drizzle of honey will work wonders!
