Fancy a gourmet touch that recalls the tropics? This coconut and chocolate coulis is pure happiness to coat your ice creams or desserts made with the Ninja Creami. It is a perfect combo between the exotic sweetness of coconut and the intensity of chocolate.

Ingredients :

  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • 100 g of dark chocolate (or milk, depending on your desire)
  • 50 g of sugar (adjust to your taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation :

  1. Heat the coconut milk
    heat the coconut milk over low heat in a small saucepan. Add the sugar and stir until it is dissolved. This is the perfect creamy base!
  2. Add the chocolate
    out of the heat, adds the chocolate cut into pieces. Let him melt quietly in coconut milk. Once well melted, mixed gently until you get a smooth and creamy sauce. The smell is just divine!
  3. Add the vanilla and salt

  4. Let thicken
    over low heat and simmer for about 5 minutes so that the coulis thickens a little. Do not let it reduce too much to keep this texture coulis.
  5. Refroved and savor!
    Let cool a bit before coating your ice cream. If you don't use it right away, keep it in the fridge (in an airtight jar), and you can use it for a week!
