Fancy a gourmet touch that recalls the tropics? This coconut and chocolate coulis is pure happiness to coat your ice creams or desserts made with the Ninja Creami. It is a perfect combo between the exotic sweetness of coconut and the intensity of chocolate.

Ingredients :
- 200 ml coconut milk
- 100 g of dark chocolate (or milk, depending on your desire)
- 50 g of sugar (adjust to your taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation :
- Heat the coconut milk
heat the coconut milk over low heat in a small saucepan. Add the sugar and stir until it is dissolved. This is the perfect creamy base! - Add the chocolate
out of the heat, adds the chocolate cut into pieces. Let him melt quietly in coconut milk. Once well melted, mixed gently until you get a smooth and creamy sauce. The smell is just divine! - Add the vanilla and salt
for a little extra touch, you can add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. This perfectly balances the sweet taste and makes the sauce even more irresistible. - Let thicken
over low heat and simmer for about 5 minutes so that the coulis thickens a little. Do not let it reduce too much to keep this texture coulis. - Refroved and savor!
Let cool a bit before coating your ice cream. If you don't use it right away, keep it in the fridge (in an airtight jar), and you can use it for a week!

My Personal Tip:
This cocoocolate coulis is absolutely perfect for marbing a vanilla or coconut ice cream made with the Ninja Creami. Personally, I also love to use it on a mango ice cream or a passion fruit sorbet for an exotic sweet-chocolate contrast. What if you are a fan of milkshakes? Add a small spoon in your mix for an explosion of flavors!
Here, a very simple little sauce but that makes all the difference to enhance your Ninja Creami ice creations. A real delight to try and try again!
