When the craving for ice cream strikes, we often wish our CREAMi Ninja was ready to go in a flash. To achieve the perfect texture, the freezing stage is essential! While it requires a bit of planning, there are simple tricks to optimize the freezing time of your creations and ensure you always have ice cream ready to enjoy. Here are my top tips for saving time while guaranteeing perfect ice cream.

Pre-freeze the most watery ingredients
Fruits with a high water content, such as strawberries, watermelon, or mango, require more time to freeze due to their high water content. To speed up the process, you can pre-freeze these ingredients in pieces before blending them with other creamy bases.
- Tip : Cut the fruit into small pieces, freeze them on a baking sheet, then use them to make your ice cream. This results in faster ice cream and a more consistent texture.
Use the Freezer in Fast Mode

If your freezer has a "fast freeze" function, don't hesitate to use it to solidify your preparations in minimal time. This mode is ideal for urgent preparations and guarantees even freezing without compromising texture.
- Helpful tip : Place your Ninja CREAMi jars near your freezer fan, if possible, as this is where the temperature is lowest.
Prepare Ice Cream Bases in Advance

One of the best ways to always have ice cream ready is to prepare several bases in advance. Store them in separate containers and leave them in the freezer. When you're craving ice cream, simply blend it with the Ninja CREAMi!
- Idea : Prepare vanilla, chocolate, and fruit bases to have a variety of options. You can also add mix-ins at the last minute to personalize each serving.
Optimize the Base Thickness
Preparations that are too thick or contain a lot of cream may take longer to freeze completely. By adjusting the consistency of the base (for example, by adding a little milk), you can reduce the freezing time.
- Tip : Use light plant-based milks, such as almond or coconut milk, to achieve a smoother texture that freezes quickly without sacrificing taste.
Use the "Respin" mode to adjust the consistency
If the ice cream is too hard when you take it out of the freezer, let the container sit at room temperature for a few minutes or quickly run it under warm water (on the outside only) to soften the mixture. This will make it easier to blend and reduce the formation of ice crystals.
- Quick tip : A few seconds is all it takes! Don't leave it too long, as this could make the ice too soft.
