Passion fruit, or maracuja, is a tropical fruit that's both sweet and tangy. This coulis is perfect for topping your ice cream made with Ninja Creami. Its beautiful bright yellow color and refreshing taste will transform your frozen desserts into true tropical works of art.

Ingredients :
- 4 maracujas (passion fruit)
- 50g of sugar (or adjust to your taste)
- 50 ml of water
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (optional, for added acidity)
Preparation :
- Prepare the passion fruit.
Cut the passion fruits in half and scoop out the pulp with a spoon. You can keep the seeds if you like a bit of texture, or remove them by straining the pulp through a sieve. - Heat the mixture.
Put the passion fruit pulp in a small saucepan with the water, sugar, and lemon juice (if you like a more tangy flavor). Heat over low heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. - Let it thicken.
Continue simmering until the sauce thickens slightly. Remove from the heat and let it cool to room temperature. - Use and storage:
Once cooled, you can use this coulis to top your ice cream or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about a week.

My Personal Tip:
This passion fruit coulis is perfect on vanilla or coconut ice cream made with Ninja Creami. It adds an incredible touch of freshness to sorbets and also works well for swirling homemade ice cream. And if you're a fan of fruity drinks, you can add this coulis to lemonade or a tropical cocktail for a guaranteed "wow" effect!
This fresh, tropical coulis adds a burst of flavor to any frozen dessert. With this passion fruit coulis, your Ninja Creami creations will become even more exotic and indulgent!
