This red-groan sorbet is the perfect balance between the natural acidity of the redcurrants and the sweetness of raspberries. It offers an explosion of freshness and fruity, ideal for a summer break!

Ingredients :

  • 100 g of redcurrants (fresh or frozen)
  • 200 g fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 5 tablespoons of agave syrup (or adjust according to your tastes)
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 100 ml of water
  • 1 small pinch of salt (optional)

Preparation :

  1. Prepare the fruits
    if you use fresh fruit, wash the currants and raspberries well. If you use frozen fruits, let them thaw slightly to facilitate mixing.
  2. Mixes ingredients
    put redcurrants, raspberries, water, agave syrup, lemon juice and a small pinch of salt in a blender. Mix until a very smooth and homogeneous texture.
  3. Pour into the Ninja Creami container

  4. Turbine with the sorbet program
    once the preparation is well frozen, inserts the container in the Ninja Creami and selects the "Sorbet" . You will get a perfectly smooth and fruity sorbet.
  5. Respin tip
    If the sorbet is a little too firm after the first cycle, uses the "resin" and adds about 30 ml of liquid (like water or more lemon juice) to obtain a perfect texture.

My Personal Tip:

This currant sorbet is already delicious as it is, but you can add a touch of gluttony by serving it with pieces of fresh fruit, a honey net or even a little lime zest for a refreshing contrast. It is a sorbet that can also be used to accompany richer desserts such as pies or crumbles!
