The watermelon sorbet is an ultra-light and moisturizing dessert, perfect for summer. The watermelon brings a naturally sweet sweetness, while raspberries add a touch of acidity that perfectly balances this refreshing sorbet.

Ingredients :

  • 150 g of watermelon (without seeds, cut into pieces)
  • 150 g of fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup (or adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 100 ml of water
  • 1 small pinch of salt (optional)

Preparation :

  1. Prepare the watermelon and raspberries
    if you use frozen raspberries, let them thaw slightly. Cut the watermelon into pieces by removing the seeds if necessary.
  2. Mixes the ingredients
    in a blender, adds the pieces of watermelon, raspberries, water, agave syrup, lemon juice and a small pinch of salt. Mix until you get a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
  3. Pour into the Ninja Creami container
    transfers the preparation in the Ninja Creami container, taking care not to exceed the Max Fill . Then put the container in the freezer for 24 hours .
  4. Turbine with the sorbet program
    once the preparation is well frozen, inserts the container in the Ninja Creami and selects the "Sorbet" . In a few minutes, you will get a perfectly smooth and refreshing sorbet.
  5. Respin tip
    If the texture is too firm after the first cycle, uses the "Respin" and adds about 30 ml of water to obtain a more smooth texture.

My Personal Tip:

For an even more summer touch, you can serve this sorbet with a few fresh mint leaves or even add a few pieces of watermelon or fresh raspberries over to bring a little texture. This sorbet is also perfect to accompany a net of raspberry syrup to accentuate the fruity side!
