This redcurrant and raspberry sorbet is the perfect balance between the natural tartness of redcurrants and the sweetness of raspberries. It offers an explosion of freshness and fruitiness, ideal for a summer break!

Ingredients :

  • 100g of currants (fresh or frozen)
  • 200g of fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 5 tablespoons of agave syrup (or adjust to your taste)
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 100 ml of water
  • 1 small pinch of salt (optional)

Preparation :

  1. Prepare the fruit.
If you're using fresh fruit, wash the currants and raspberries well. If you're using frozen fruit, let it thaw slightly to make blending easier.
  2. Blend the ingredients.
Put the currants, raspberries, water, agave syrup, lemon juice and a pinch of salt in a blender. Blend until smooth and homogeneous.
  3. Pour into the Ninja Creami container.
Transfer the mixture into the Ninja Creami container, being careful not to exceed the MAX FILL . Then place the container in the freezer for 24 hours .
  4. Churn with the Sorbet program.
Once the mixture is completely frozen, insert the container into the Ninja Creami and select the "Sorbet" . You will obtain a perfectly smooth and fruity sorbet.
  5. Respin Tip:
If the sorbet is a little too firm after the first cycle, use the "Respin" and add about 30 ml of liquid (such as water or more lemon juice) to achieve the perfect texture.

My Personal Tip:

This redcurrant and raspberry sorbet is already delicious on its own, but you can add a touch of indulgence by serving it with pieces of fresh fruit, a drizzle of honey, or even a little lime zest for a refreshing contrast. It's a sorbet that can also be used to accompany richer desserts like tarts or crumbles!

This redcurrant and raspberry sorbet is a light and tangy dessert, perfect for red fruit lovers. With Ninja Creami, you get a smooth and silky texture that perfectly highlights the tartness of the redcurrants and the sweetness of the raspberries. A delight in every bite!
