Ingredients :

  • 100g of fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 200g of rhubarb (fresh or frozen)

Preparation :

  1. Prepare the rhubarb.
    If using fresh rhubarb, peel and chop it into small pieces. If using frozen rhubarb, let it thaw slightly. Cook the rhubarb in a saucepan with a tablespoon of agave syrup and a little water over low heat for 5 to 10 minutes, until it becomes soft and jammy. Let it cool.
  2. Prepare the strawberries.
    Wash the strawberries well, hull them, and cut them into pieces. If you are using frozen strawberries, let them thaw slightly.
  3. Blend the ingredients.
    In a blender, add the strawberries, cooked rhubarb, heavy cream, milk, agave syrup, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Blend well until smooth and homogeneous. The fruity aroma will already make you want to dig in!
  4. Pour into the Ninja Creami container

    If the ice cream is a little too firm after the first cycle, use the "Respin" and add about 30 ml of milk to make the texture even creamier.
