The Yuzu sorbet is an explosion of freshness with lemon and floral notes. The Yuzu, a Japanese citrus, is distinguished by its unique flavor, halfway between lemon, tangerine and grapefruit. This sorbet is ideal for hot days, or as a light dessert after a generous meal.

Ingredients :
- 200 ml of yuzu juice (you can find it in Asian or online grocery store)
- 250 ml of water
- 6 tablespoons of agave syrup (or adjust according to your taste)
- 1 small pinch of salt (optional)
Preparation :
- Mix the ingredients
in a bowl, mix the yuzu juice, water, agave syrup, lemon juice and a small pinch of salt. Taste to adjust the sweet/acid level according to your preferences. - Pour into the Ninja Creami container
transfers the preparation in the Ninja Creami container, taking care not to exceed the Max Fill . Then put the container in the freezer for 24 hours . - Turbine with the Sorbet program
after 24 hours, inserts the container in the Ninja Creami and selects the "Sorbet" . In a few minutes, you will have a tangy and perfectly smooth sorbet. - Respin tip
If the texture is too firm after the first cycle, uses the "Respin" and adds about 30 ml of water to adjust the consistency.
My Personal Tip:
This yuzu sorbet is delicious as is, but you can sublimate it with lemon or yuzu zest for even more perfume. If you want to add a touch of crunch, serve it with a few tapered almonds or meringue bursts.
The Yuzu sorbet is a light and sophisticated dessert, perfect for refreshing the palate. Thanks to the Ninja Creami, you will get a soft and creamy texture that perfectly highlights the complex aromas of this wonderful citrus.
