Milk chocolate sauce is a rich and creamy sauce, ideal for topping ice cream, crepes, or waffles. It's easy to make and adds a chocolatey sweetness that pairs perfectly with vanilla, strawberry, or even coffee ice cream.

Ingredients :

  • 150g of milk chocolate
  • 50 ml of liquid cream
  • 50 ml of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar (optional, depending on the sweetness of the chocolate)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)

Preparation :

  1. Heat the cream and milk.
In a small saucepan, heat the cream and milk over low heat, without letting it boil. Stir gently to prevent the mixture from sticking to the bottom.
  2. Add the milk chocolate.
Once the mixture is hot, remove the pan from the heat and add the chopped milk chocolate. Let the chocolate melt in the hot cream for a few minutes.
  3. Mix to obtain a smooth sauce.
Stir gently until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous sauce. If you want a sweeter sauce, add a tablespoon of sugar at this stage and stir well until dissolved.
  4. Add the vanilla (optional).
For an even more fragrant coulis, add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  5. Let it cool slightly.
Allow the coulis to cool to room temperature before using it to top your ice cream. It will keep in the refrigerator for about a week in an airtight container.

My Personal Tip:

This milk chocolate sauce is perfect for drizzling over vanilla or coconut ice cream. I also love using it to swirl coffee or caramel ice cream with Ninja Creami. For an even more indulgent touch, you can add chopped hazelnuts or toasted almonds on top. And for those with a real sweet tooth, try adding it to an iced milkshake or over crepes with a scoop of ice cream—it's a real treat!

There you have it, a creamy and delicious homemade milk chocolate sauce, perfect to accompany all your Ninja Creami frozen creations and give them an irresistible sweet and chocolatey touch!
