Pear coulis is a light and delicate preparation, ideal for accompanying ice cream, crepes, or desserts. Its sweet, slightly vanilla flavor pairs perfectly with creamy or fruit-based ice creams.

Ingredients :
- 3 ripe pears
- 50g of sugar (adjust according to the sweetness of the pears)
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (to prevent oxidation)
- 50 ml of water
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)
Preparation :
- Prepare the pears.
Peel and core the pears, then cut them into small pieces. If the pears are very ripe and juicy, you can reduce the amount of water. - Cook the pears.
In a small saucepan, combine the pear pieces with the sugar, water, and lemon juice. Heat over medium heat and cook for approximately 10 to 15 minutes, until the pears are very tender. - Blending:
Remove the saucepan from the heat and blend the pears with an immersion blender or a regular blender until smooth. For a perfectly smooth coulis, pass it through a fine-mesh sieve. - Add the vanilla (optional).
If you wish to add a sweet and fragrant note, add the vanilla extract and mix well. - Let it cool.
Allow the coulis to cool to room temperature before pouring it into an airtight container. It will keep in the refrigerator for about a week.

My Personal Tip:
This pear coulis is perfect for topping vanilla, chocolate, or even coconut ice cream with Ninja Creami. For an even more indulgent touch, you can add some chopped hazelnuts or toasted almonds. I also love adding it to milkshakes for a smooth and fruity drink, or mixing it into homemade sorbet for an explosion of flavor!
There you have it, a simple and delicious homemade pear coulis, perfect for enhancing your Ninja Creami frozen creations and adding a fruity and sweet touch to your favorite desserts.
