Ingredients :
- 300g of pecan nuts
- 1 to 2 tablespoons of neutral oil (optional, depending on the desired consistency)
- 1 tablespoon of sugar (optional, to enhance the natural sweetness)
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)
Preparation :
- Toast the pecans.
Spread the pecans on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 8 to 10 minutes. This will intensify their flavor and make them easier to blend. - Blending the pecans:
Once roasted, place the pecans in a blender and blend until you have a smooth paste. This may take several minutes. Pecans naturally release their oils, but if the paste is too thick, you can add a tablespoon of oil for a creamier consistency. - Add the flavorings.
