A simple and delicious sorbet recipe using the Ninja Creami machine

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of fresh or frozen peaches, peeled and pitted;
    3/4 cup of water;
    1/2 cup of granulated sugar;
    1 tablespoon of lemon juice;
    3 shots of water

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, combine the water and granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove the simple syrup from the heat and let it cool.
  • Next, blend the peaches until smooth in the blender or food processor.
  • Mix together the peach puree, the cooled simple syrup, and the lemon juice.
  • Pour the mixture into your Ninja Creami container.
  • Leave to freeze for 24 hours.
  • Blend using the Sorbet option. Once the cycle is complete, open the lid and add the 3 shots of water and run a re-spin cycle until you obtain a creamy texture.

Notes

  • Depending on the sweetness of the peaches, adjust the sweetness by changing the amount of sugar. Sweeten with the sweetener of your choice: brown sugar, agave syrup, maple syrup, sweetener…
  • If you wish, you can add a touch of cinnamon or a hint of amaretto to enhance the peach flavor.
  • Garnish with a thin slice of peach or a sprig of mint when serving for an extra touch of elegance.
