Today, I'm super excited to introduce you to a completely new ice cream experience: Tomato and Basil Ice Cream with Ninja Creami! Imagine the freshness of ripe tomatoes in a lightly salted ice cream, enhanced by the fresh, fragrant aroma of basil. This unique creation is not only delicious, it also adds a special touch to your aperitifs. Savory sorbets are gaining more and more popularity, and this tomato and basil ice cream is perfect for surprising and delighting your guests during an evening with friends. Ingredients

  • 400 g of very ripe tomatoes, peeled and seeded
    30 grams of sugar
    Juice of a lemon
    4 sprigs of fresh basil (to taste)
    2 shots of a liquid of your choice (to improve the texture at the end) water, juice of lemon, tomato juice.

Instructions

  • In a blender, blend the tomatoes until you obtain a smooth puree.
  • Add the sugar, lemon juice and basil leaves to the tomato puree. Mix until you obtain a homogeneous consistency.
  • Filter through a sieve so that only the juice is left.
  • Pour the mixture directly into the Ninja Creami container.
  • Close the lid of the Ninja Creami and place the container in the freezer for 24 hours.
  • Once the mixture is frozen, take it out of the freezer and attach it to the Ninja Creami.
  • Mix with the Sorbet option.
  • At the end of the cycle, add 2 shots of the chosen liquid to improve the texture.

    Run a re-spin cycle until you get the desired consistency. Tasting suggestions:
