Yuzu sorbet is an explosion of freshness with lemony and floral notes. Yuzu, a Japanese citrus fruit, is distinguished by its unique flavor, somewhere between lemon, mandarin, and grapefruit. This sorbet is ideal for hot days, or as a light dessert after a hearty meal.

Ingredients :
- 200 ml of yuzu juice (you can find it in Asian grocery stores or online)
- 250 ml of water
- 6 tablespoons of agave syrup (or adjust to your taste)
- 1 small pinch of salt (optional)
Preparation :
- Mix the ingredients.
In a bowl, combine the yuzu juice, water, agave syrup, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Taste to adjust the sweetness/sourness to your liking. - Pour into the Ninja Creami container.
Transfer the mixture into the Ninja Creami container, being careful not to exceed the MAX FILL . Then place the container in the freezer for 24 hours . - Churn using the Sorbet program.
After 24 hours, insert the container into the Ninja Creami and select the "Sorbet" . In just a few minutes, you'll have a tangy and perfectly smooth sorbet. - Respin Tip:
If the texture is too firm after the first cycle, use the "Respin" and add approximately 30 ml of water to adjust the consistency.
My Personal Tip:
This yuzu sorbet is delicious on its own, but you can enhance it with lemon or yuzu zest for even more flavor. If you want to add a touch of crunch, serve it with some slivered almonds or meringue shards.
Yuzu sorbet is a light and sophisticated dessert, perfect for refreshing the palate. Thanks to Ninja Creami, you'll get a smooth and creamy texture that perfectly highlights the complex aromas of this wonderful citrus fruit.
